A friendly hello from germany,

in my new Beat was a speed converter instelled, which
was connected with the wire harness at the speedo.
It is a little Box placed under the steeringcover below the
speedo. You get it with an installation plan and a sticker which
cover the km/h signs on the speedo.
The converter change also the counter from km/h into mph.

So if anyone is interested - make me an offer.

greetings

Christian

(sorry, just had to take the typo out, all this talk of hardness...)

hello friend from Germany
Will you take 20 euros for it including surface postage to UK?

Hi John,

I think that basically it's a No...

The "presents get my wife" bit probably says that 11 euro (after postage) won't buy her much...

I'm guessing he wants more than about £7.50 for it and to be honest I don't blame him...

These things aren't exactly cheap when new so even 2nd hand are worth a lot more then that.

Ady.

P.S.

Have you worked out what is happening with your old Beat yet?? there are several people after bits in your other thread if you decide to break it up for spares.
