Dont know the proper name for it, but the square thingy that the roof hook clips into, I think i need a new one... or at least some instruction on how to remove it to take a look at it, mine is loose and means the roof on the passenger side isn't secure which in turn means the wind catches it on motorways and it makes one hell of a racket!!!

Any ideas? Anyone got one I could buy?

Cant you adjust the hook on the roof part (unclip it an look inside the catch) so that it pulls up tight?

It's as tight as it will go...

it's the square bit that it hooks into, it's loose and wobbles about and rattles when i go over bumps :( :help:

It's a phillips screwdriver job,,,or should be pending any modifications.

Undo the 2 sun visors (2 screws each). The plastic trim unclips and the clamps/hooks/ roof clamp thingies and secured with philips screws.

No soldering required

Turns out it was just some loose screws... tis nice when you can fix a small job with minimal effort :D
