I saw that AliA has mentioned the JAE in July. We usually book a stand for 20 cars (that's usually more than enough space!) and the stand fee is funded by the Club, so if you can come, you'll only have to find the entrance fee to the ground.

I also wondered if we might join up with Honda Revolutions and have adjacent or joint stands. I'll progress that idea with Sammy at HR.

Meantime, please post if you'll be coming so we can get ideas about numbers.

Sorry I couldn't make Gaydon - looks like it was a good day out.

I spoke with Sammy at Honda revolutions today and they'd be delighted for us to join them on their stand at the JAE. They all think the Beat's a great car and will be an asset to their display. We'll get a separate piece of space to feature our nicest Beat (don't all rush at once!) with 5 or 6 others in a semi-circle around it. If we get more than say 7 Beats turning up, we'll fit the others in as best we can.

So ... we're looking for the nicest original Beat I guess. That puts me out as I have after-market alloys. If you reckon you've got a nice, original car, put your name forward and we'll make a selection and get things set up.

If you go to: www.the-organisation.org (http://www.the-organisation.org) you'll find a link to the JAE pages for fuller details of the event.

PLEASE POST YOUR INTENTION TO COME TO THE JAE SO WE HAVE AN IDEA HOW MANY WILL ATTEND.

Hey Marcus, how ya doin'?

We're going to share some space on the HondaRevolutions stand and I'm toying with going both days, but that might not materialise. If only one day then it's likely to be Sunday. That suit you?

I'll be there, hopefully both days, but if not, then Sunday. I know of two more Beats that will probably be there and Marcus is coming in his Copen (pseudo-Beat!)

It certainly is John...:D

It's an early one (1993) with just 55,000 miles and later model spoiler and front lip fitted.

If it's as clean as the pics when I get there tomorrow then I'l be very happy...

Ady.

Very nice, UK version or import?

I'm actually looking to swap my civic for a Scooby sportwagon(the estate version) maybe a legnum.

So I'm going to have a good nose around JAE.

Hi Ali,

It's an import, came into the UK in Feb this year.

There seems to be loads of wagons for sale at the moment but I struggled to find many saloons that even looked worth considering especially at the right price...

Marcus,

Well ... accustomed as I now am to a good morning lie-in, I shall have to make an extra effort Sunday. I'd guess I'll be there no later than 10:00. There's a chance I may have to come in the Type "R" again, so maybe earlier!

We're sharing a corner of the Honda Revolutions stand this year, so look out for that and I'm looking forward to seeing you there.

Cheers
John

It's all well signposted. I don't recall going in the main entrance last year, although we did use that when leaving, so I'd just follow the signs. Don't forget to head for the Honda revolutions stand, where we'll have some space allocated for Beats.

If you have SatNav, the post code is PE2 6XE.
