After purchasing a spare set of headlights in case I messed it all up I finally plucked up the courage to do the headlights!

Was quite easy really.

All you need is a heat gun (I used my hair dryer) and a screwdriver.

You heat up a small area around the edge of the lens, then use the screw driver to break the seal. Slowly work your way around the light.

Then starting on the underside (the bottom) of the headlight begin to lever the lens off the plastic backing.

As the lenses are plastic they can take a bit of stress!

Then the orange bit is held on with 1 little screw, so took 2 seconds to remove.

Then it's a case of fitting the lens back on, heating it up bit by bit and pushing the plastic back down.

I then used clear silicone to seal the edges to prevent water getting in.

Here's how it started:

This is mid way:

Yes.

Thinking of painting it black so it doesn't stand out so much. Or just putting it in some black tights.

Cant you paint two white fangs on it instead?

(or go for the Ronaldo (brazil) look with goofy teeth!)
