Help required - engine light problem

Ever since the last rebuild my engine check light comes on and stays on.

We've checked the timing, all connections, breather pipes, oil/water level, exhaust, everything we could think of but it's still on.

All suggestions (except take the bulb out) greatly welcomed :)

Hi Emm,

First thing to do is the diagnostic using the 2 pin plug in the engine bay to see what fault it throws up.

I'd guess that with all the work that has been done lately, that either a pin in a plug has moved and not making contact or a wire has broken somewhere but a diagnostics should point in the right direction. (Hopefully)

There is a couple of posts on here with instructions if needed.

If that's the little yellow plug, it did flash a code!

I will have to do it again and see what the code was!
