CD player trouble....HELP!

:awwww: Hi i'm new to the beat club and have read many threads, you all seem to know your cars. I have not long had my newly acquired import, when the audio system takes a nose dive. Anyone knows what the ERR 1 means when the CD is turned on. I have checked the obvious, including making sure theres a player in the back. The radio and the tape deck works fine. Please help.:(

I don't think it was meant in an aggresive way at all.

Although I can't seem to find the information I'm thinking of. I'm sure I saw a thread with all the codes and what they meant. But I can't seem to find it now.
