Hopefully I'll be joining you next year, was meant to go with the uni this year but lack of funds didn't allow for it. Been told I gotta go next year to buy my lecturer beer or else haha

So have fun in the sun! You lucky pair you! :D

2300k's and no major problems, well sort of.....

adjusted the clutch play before we went, 200yds & every gear change slipping, not a good start. out with the spanner, prob solved until in france & clutch decided to start slipping again with the accompanying lovely smell.
i think the pivot pin on pedal box is out of round, turned & took all the play out again?

nice easy drive to Portsmouth windows & top down, d/s window decided it was going to stay down! thinking about calling AA fiddled with switch & hey presto working again.

60mph cruising = 48-50 mpg

just to prove it's not only us that get rain....scrutineering in Le Mans

glad you guys had a nice time - the french outbuilding looks a lot nicer than some of the 'houses' in sheffield we've just been viewing! :awwww:

I like the roof? rack you have. Could you post a close up photo of it? Maybe I could get one made in New Zealand or do you have a source of supply.
Cheers,
david

I have this rack on my Beat. It's dark now, but I'll take a few pictures with a view that you want to 'reverse engineer' it for you tomorrow and post them. (mines a little more rusty than this one though...)

Your rack is the genuine accessory fittings.

This picture is from the accessories brouchure.
