Yup - it'd be great to see some more Beats this year! last year's turnout was good and it'd be ace to put a few more names to faces this year.
Its a great opportunity to meet everyone and very relaxed. probably one of the only times you'll get to see another beat apart from your own too!

Thanks for the post Dave, and the support Mike.

Can we tempt anyone else to join us again this year?

It's a lovely park, kid and dog friendly with lots of playgrounds and a nice cafe. The meet is self is free, but there is a barrier to the park for £3.

I originally organised the meet for Beat owners, so would be nice if some more could make it. Even if you don't know anyone we're very friendly, even if you don't post here at all/often or if you've never been to KKITP.com you'll still be more than welcome :)

Really want to put names to faces and thank everyone personally for their help and advice so I'm gonna do my best to join the 3 of you.

Unfortunately it seems my Beat and I share similar health issues at the moment, so I can't promise anything :(

IF there is a doctor or a mechanic in the house......? :)

You concentrate on getting better, it would be great if you can make it though, but there's always next year if you're not well enough this time 'round
;)

I am hoping to make it, but I am suffering from ugly beat syndrome at the moment. Hood shrank to the extent that it no longer fits.
Are rust spots and tattyness appreciated at these events, or will I be better off in the passat?

the more the merrier harry!! :D
please dont think its any kind of show at all - just a very informal meet of friendly people who all love little cars.

All beats and owners are welcome, there is a little prize for best presented beat but that doesn't necessarily mean the shinest or the prettiest. Please do bring your beat, it's also helpful if you have any questions about it so we can help you out!

:D
