Hi Folks,

I wonder if anyone can give some advice to a total novice who now has both speedo and tacho needles dead on the cluster, both jumped about for a bit and finally died this year. I am wondering if this is a common problem and if there are some simple things I can check? I'm thinking that if I figure out how to get the cluster off I'll open it and a load of little tiny springs and things will pop out  and I'll never get it back together again :suicide:

Any advice out there for this noob?

It's not hard to get the cluster out, and since it's all electronics nothing will pop out at you! Chances are you will find some corroded connections. While you have it out it's worth replacing the little lamps with leds.
