I'm hopefully about 4 days away from owning my first beat and I have the choice of going for lower millage with steel wheels or higher millage with alloys and a Toad alarm. the difference is about £500 and about 50000 km's.

I reckon the lower km car is the one to go for as I've been quoted about £334 from adrian flux for fully comp insurance etc. Anyways to get to the point

What aftermarket alloys are there out there that will fit the beat? If anyones knows please let me know as I'm very interested. cheers Toby aka Berty:bounce: (very excited about buying a Beat)

hiya, welcome to the most fun you can have, if you can handle the
noise!!

i recently purchased some "tsw RAZOR" alloys, 14" for the front,
15" for the back.
you're looking for a 35 offset front, 40 offset rear. otherwise
the wheel or tyre will foul the springs. go for quite a thin
tyre or you'll have some issues with the wheel arches.

just in case,
my old alloys, alli rim with black centres, are taking up
valuable space, have perfectly good tyres on them and could
be for sale, for the right price.

best of luck in your search,

Paul.
