Yet another possible aux in solution. Probably the most advanced one yet.

I imagine that most of you who want to connect your phone/mp3 player/whatever are either using a tape adapter, FM modulator, or doing the CD changer hack. Some of the more ambitious of you may have cracked open the deck and wired directly into the circuitry. I think I may have found an alternate solution.

As it turns out, Saabs at one point also came with a Clarion headunit that had the same sort of C-bus behaviour as the the Gathers unit. One guy decided to make something to emulate the handshake from the changer, so that the headunit would always think that there was a CD changer present.
