Dont know is the short answer...
but....
1) Is the engine light on ? and if so what code have you found from it ?
2) If there is a ECU fault, I have heard of a guy in England who can repair...

There was a bit of rain (torrential) but dry on the whole and the rain came at beer time so was well timed.

Ended up going for the Jazz battery... 055 code... fits perfect, even uses original mountings....

It has the original connectors on the cables, just bodged to fit square posts....
What battery code is in yours ??

Seems my battery is on it's last legs....

But what's in the car is Ford style battery with square posts ...

What battery should it be ?

Bit of a faff, but now have digital radio, no needs for the FM anymore

I would check all timing marks align as well as above...

Also check the ignition timing....

When you say misfire.... could also be air leak or fuel problem if old fuel ??
