I still have a large box of things taking up space in the garage.
If people are still interested, we can arrange for shipping.
If not, its going to the dump
I bought spacers for the front that extend the offset to 48mm instead. Makes it easier to fit more wheels.
The only problem I had with the front caliper was that the rotor needed to be spaced out from inside to fit.
It also helps to run much wider tires in the front. I have 195 width all around.

If you have parts readily available and an innovative mechanic, you can do a civic brake swap.
I have front calipers + vented rotors from EP3 civic and rear rotors + shaved pads from an integra.
Since I've finished my dash conversion, I have a full set of interior dash parts available that I need to clear the garage.
Parts include:
- Entire front center stack
- Skysound speaker set...
I went to the junk yard and found a bunch from Accords / Preludes
They all work great and are several years 'newer' than the beat.
I keep an extra in the car all the time, just in case.
I think total cost was $80 CAD shipped?
Pretty small and light.
My mechanic just took a standard cat for a sedan and made it fit. There's enough room in there for one
I think one is for the main shaft, the other for the counter-shaft. but i'm not 100%
These were the part numbers I got for the 5th gear
23581-PZ6-000
23461-PZ6-000
I have a local mechanic that used to own a shop, but now works out of his garage. He does a lot of JDM cars, and he also rebuilt the beat engine.
Most of the labour involved was continuously taking...
The TODAY final gear doesn't work, but the 5th gear works.
Mechanic did everything. Said it was relatively easy just swapping the gear.
Just make sure you replace the transmission with new seals. ...
The 5th gear really helps a lot.
I think the around 70mph (112km) it's hovering between 5000-5500 rpm
I don't travel that quickly usually on the freeways here, but it's great for the smaller...
Yah, tell me about the sound.
I get a bit of droning around 4000 rpm with my headers, it gets louder as I add more gas
Could also be the exhaust
Here's a pic of my setup (excuse the missing seats and panels)
It uses a special center console to allow double-din headunits
standard 1991-1995 honda radio adapter works for wiring aftermarket...
It was a generic seller, the sale expired so I can't see who the seller was
They like to refer to it as an exhaust manifold instead of a header
I got the HKS dual exhaust for the beat
The header was 17,500 yen, quite a good deal.
My mechanic just took a universal cat for mid-size sedan and crammed it in, along with a new bosch O2 sensor
No codes related to the cat, and my...
I got stainless steel header from yahoo, i can't recall if it came with the O2 sensor bung, but my mechanic had a new cat put in with the O2
Nice coilovers.
Be prepared for a lots of bounce compared to stock. My Greddy coilovers are very stiff even on the softest setting.
The TODAY gearbox ring gear diameter was too small. It's about an inch away from the countershaft so it can't be done. Unless there is a ring gear out there that is a larger diameter, it won't work...
Is it from beardo's page?
http://www.beardon.org/honda_beat_files_7.html
Does anyone know the end play for the transmission countershaft / main shaft for the beat?
The workshop manual doesn't seem to have any information
We still are lucky to have some pumps that don't use ethanol, but those are the higher 92/94 octane which is what I use
i have one that I'm not using
but shipping to UK isn't cheap
