I will just revive this ancient thread as Ive just replaced the engine in a beat and we have the 7000rpm limit issue, so if anyone has resolved it in the last 10 years please post here ;)

OK, just replaced the engine in our Beat.

Runs fine, but will not rev beyond 7k. Done timing, checked TPS, Map

No engine codes.

Any ideas?

Ive just finished rebuilding a beat. But I now need an airfilter and the connection pipe between the airbox and air feed. Does anyone have it?

Or are there other air filter options for the beat...
