    Roll over bars

I made some for my first Beat a few years ago. And time permitting I need to make some more. I do have some engineering drawings for the old girls which were twin hoop and sat on the rear of the seats but still let the hood fold down I will extract the drawings from work and post them. Also supplied were two brackets which fitted to the hood and seat belt mountings, hence no drilling required!!!!

It is a shame I have not got pictures of when I had them fitted to the car (days before good digital cameras, if there is enough interest I may be able to get a batch made at a ggod price I will post the 3D rendered image from autoCad when I can remember how to pull it off the system at work ( been a while since I was the design engineer) What a Saddo I must sould like, just to wet your imgination it took me 3 weeks to design and 2 months to get the on and only manufaured but it did fit like a glove!!! The thing should still be on my first ever beat, where ever that is now???

    Good news and Bad News

The tubes are bent by people who build tractors I have a contact there, wehre I come from tractors are common Thre is some news, Bad news is that some kind IT dude has removed all non work related drawinsg from our server which also means my Beat bars Doooh. Good news I have all design doodles and measurements, hence I will have to get them drawn again and one or more units made, what we could do is act as a co-operative and all club together to cut down production costs, as tractor boy can manufacure the complete thing !!!!

    Prices

To answer some of the questions the original was made from 38mm diameter stainless steel and cost around 375 pounds to make. Although it would be more likley to have them manufactured from steel tubing hand have the option of self colour, powder coated or chrome plated.

I am going to speak with the necessary poeple this week once thier Christmass Dinners have settled and get some figures regarding cost and lead time. If prices are acceptable then deposits can be placed with orders!!!

    Flat pack

What do you think I am MFI

That option can be explored makes for easy shipping!!!

You must be a keen welder then, maybe we could supply a full cutting list of parts and a hole saw for making the interface parts, made one myself takes time but can be done!!!

Hi Beat products un welded would allow me to make small changes as I have no way of bending the tubes/fabricate. Welding could be fun.

    Prices

I completely manufacured bare metal beast will be £350
Chrome plated £495 Powder coated £425

These prices are not yet confirmed the problem is the pipe bending costs and chrome plating, as for flat pack about £300!!

The welding part is not too expensive it is the cutting and pre-pairing that costs!! these prices are based on orders of 3 units.

The final option is that I will sell copies the design drawing for £35 each!!!
