    Cheshire Kit & Classic Car Show

    This is an odd event as it was originally intended for kit cars. However it's scope has spread a bit and Beats have attended (as classics- not kits!) on and off over the last few years. One year we had 6 Beats and an equal number of GoldWings! It's a nice day (in good weather - as are they all!) and has a wide range of interesting vehicles to look at. There's always a vast range of Caterhams and "Lotus 7" derivatives, for example.

    CHESHIRE KIT & CLASSIC CAR SHOW & RALLY – 20 MAY 2007

    Set in the beautiful grounds of Capesthorne Hall, Macclesfield, Cheshire, the annual Rochdale Owners Club gathering has gained a reputation as a friendly, fun day for car enthusiasts and their families. We are pleased to invite you to join us on Sunday the 20th of May 2007 (gates open 10 am).The show is in its 24th year and once again is sponsored by WHICH KIT CAR Magazine. As usual we are hoping for a wide range of both kit and classic cars - as a good display broadens the interest for all concerned. There will also be trade and craft stands and a range of events in the arena, culminating in a display of the cars chosen by the judges for Best of Show, Runner Up, Highly Commended, the Which Kit Award and Visitors’ Choice which will take place at 4.15.
    The Hall has a fascinating collection of paintings, sculptures and furniture. The park and gardens extend to some 60 acres and include a nature trail and woodland walk.

    Charges:-
    KIT/CLASSIC CAR DRIVER -free Adults -£5.00 ) This includes car parking and access to
    Children -£2.00 ) everything except entrance to the Hall;
    THE HALL (open 12.30 to 3.00pm) -£2.00.

    How to find us – The Hall is a well - known landmark situated just south of the A537/A34 crossroads, west of Macclesfield. It is well signposted and within easy reach of the M56, M62 and M6.
