    pistons

    Hi guys

Does anyone know if there are markings on the pistons to identify whether the pistons are standard or over size??

My 0.5mm oversized pistons should be here tomorrow, so I'll let you know if there's any markings

Only an Ink mark which is visable when new. Best guide is measurement, as far as im aware unless its been rebuilt before, standard pistons will be fitted.

I only noticed a few differences, but I don't know if they're anything to do with when they were made or by whom. However these are the differences I noticed:

Looking at the side of the piston, the same side as the 'P36' on the top of the piston, there looks like a C on the original pistons, and an incircled A on the new ones.

They look like manufacture marks, so not sure on those.

However on the same side as the arrow on top, the old ones had P36 and HF4, and the new ones (0.5mm oversized) had P36 and HF1.

    So maybe that's a clue!
