I entered my Beat in the car show put on every year by the Mechanical Engineering department of the college I graduated from. I was put in the RWD unmodified class and was parked around Porsche's and Lamborghini's. I was pleasantly surprised at how much attention my little car drew!

and only taken her out a few times but it seems to generate a huge amount of interest. People have approached me in car parks and filling stations to ask about the car and admire. No one ever did that to my Volvo
