    Number Plates

When I bought my Beat it had personalised number plates. I've just put the number on retention with a view to selling it and now need new plates for my new number. Toddled off to get the new plates made only to be told old plates were illegal and only way to get plates to fit would be to buy show plates which are also illegal. Plate size - front - 13" x 7" back - 13" x 6.5"

    Any ideas?

    Alan

Thanks to all who replied. I've had Japanese Import sized plates made exactly same size as old plates.

I had found the info on craigesplates but used someone else.

    thanks again

Not technically legal, but I had a custom sized plate to the same scale as a normal UK plate.
