    Roll Bar Advice???

    Hey Guys,

I am wanting a set of roll bars behing my seat headrest and was just wonderring if anyone can help me in choosing the correct ones that will fit the beat.

Does anyone know what cars have them that will fit the beat without many mods to be done??

Does the mx5 ones that you see around fit on the beat??? What needs to be done to get them mounted on???

    Thanks Guys

I saw this pic at http://www.members.lycos.co.uk/ozsamurai/. Appears to locate common to the seat beat attach points. A local shop states they can duplicate it in polished s/s for me for $500. I'm thinking.

this is the set that we're planning on duplicating for my car (once its back on the road and the new seats are in!):

i think it depends what kind of thing you're after - whether you want something more for show/good looks or something that will actually work in the event of a roll.
if you search back on the site beatproducts posted up some info and cost ideas about making a set of hoops - think there was even a diagram

    thanks guys,

I'm after something with a bit more looks like the hoops rather than an actual roll cage. So any advice would be great.

My biggest question is, will the mx5 roll bars fit????

    cheers

    Rollover Bars

Nice to check out the old threads thanks Tado Still not managed to get in the garage yet to look for rubber parts!!

That set shown in the pitcures I am sure is the set I made for my beat, maybe some-one can confirm they came off a yellow beat which had OZ alloy wheels fitted!!! I think J25 JOU was the registration

If some one can can get them made for around £150 let me know I will buy them, the original set cost me about £280 and I did all the work apart from the bending
