    engine access

    hi folks , im going to remove the master cylinder and replace the seals ,what is the best way to access the engine bay for this , and general servicing ? cheers

    Do you mean the brakes?

    If so the master cylinder is under the bonnet.

    opps slave cylinder , i looks like i have to drop roof and remove a couple of panels , looks like its still going to be cramped and awkward ? any advice is mucho appreciated .

    To access the front of the engine bay you need only unzip the rear window, pull it out to the back, then move the carpet. Remove the 4 bolts holding the center raised panel up and there's your access.

    You should only really need to get in there to change the spark plugs, or work on the dizzy, everything else like the air, oil and fuel filter can be accessed underneath and through the boot.

    The air filter is changed by removing the grey panel in the boot, then removing the black plastic cover with 'honda' written on it. It's a panel filter.

    Yeap cramped and awkward sounds about right.

    Access for Clutch slave cylinder from above via engine access panel.
