    Turn signal cancel

I have an after-market steering wheel and the turn-signal does not cancel after the turn. Is it a Honda part I am missing or something else?
    Thx.

Item 16 is the part that does the cancel of the switch.

the steering wheel should turn item 16 via a couple of tabs on the wheel.

Perhaps your aftermarket wheel does not have these tabs, or they are damaged in some way.

    I would strip and check.

    Cancel

Thanx that's a useful little diagram. It seems that I need a plastic washer or something behind item #16 to push it out to engage the 2 little prongs.
Will look for something or make it today. -d

My after market hub did not bite item #16 until I instaled a rubber grommet down the spindle. Tightening the steering wheel nut applied enough pressure without damaging the turn signal. Just make sure the cancel is centered.

    cancel

Yes today I installed 2 spacers and the signal cancels like a dream. After 2 years without it I really feel like I'm driving in Luxury.
