    RPM's

    My RPM's always creep up to about 1600 or so. If I rev the motor they go down but then they will creep up again within a few seconds.
    Is there a sensible way to control this or is it worth the hassle?

    Sounds like maybe an air leak on the intake side. Check for a disconnected or cracked vacuum line. Intake manifold gasket?
