    Want a passenger door switch?

Went to the wrecker today and got a few. Free for the asking
Run a single wire to your other door switch wire, and you're good to go. A must have for an alarm or added interior lighting.

Quite a few older Honda models had the same switch - CRV 97-01 for example.
The only thing your find missing on the door jam is the thread in the hole for the screw.

When I fitted one I scratched away the paint behind and used an earth type spire nut (so it dug into the bodywork behind the hole) and a self tapping screw.

And as you say run a wire across the car to the drivers side switch.

One step further, tap off the hot wire of the driver's side interior lite and run into the pass lite assy.
