    Question Body Language

There are a few mis-shaped lumps on my Beat where it looks like someone has tried to repair mebbe rust or a bump and they're not done a very good job

I know how to treat rust problems, but one area I'm nervous about attempting is on the bonnet of the car. Its right in the top right corner (as you look at the car), where the bonnet meets the wing mirror (I'll edit in a pic as soon as I take one). Its not rusted and has been repainted, but who ever filled the filler did a poor job. I'm worried about tackling it to smooth it. Would paper be the best way or a grinder?

I think my biggest worry is changing the shape of the bonnet edge
If at first you don't suceed, skydiving isn't for you...
