    Having no gathers radio,I started looking for an alternative.All aftermarket radios are a standard DIN size,being approx 7""x2"".These are too wide to fit.I had a brainwave and looked up motorcycle radios on ebay.There for about £20 ,I bought an FM radio which is 3"x2".I opened the casing and soldered a piece of aerial coax cable to replace the yellow aerial wire fitted.This now connects to the car aerial.The standard door speakers are a perfect match and the sound is great .Let's face it,HI-FI is waisted in a Beat.The face shows the time when radio is off.Best of all,you can plug in your MP3 too.Having no radio,I fashioned a piece of wood to fit and covered it with grey leathercloth,it looks smart.
