the yello wonr cost 498,000yen which is GBP 3800

you still need to pay the agent fees to get it on boat
can be any where from 5000 to 98000 yen which is GBP 400 to 800

    also import tax and shipping
shipping will be around GBP 300, tax is 10%

    and docks handling charges, VAT
charges can be arpund 80 to 150, vat is the total +17.5%

i think you loking at 4500 to 4800 on the road.

    good luck mate.

i cant wait to see some pics of the R1 one day
there were a few nice ones for sale over the summer but they seem to have all vanished again at the moment.
the yen is really bad at the moment - we've bought quite a few bits recently through jesse and prices work out about a 50% again more expensive than it used to be

Yeh - the pound buys 130 Japanese yen now, compared with 150 a year ago. But wow, is Britain ever expensive!!!! I was just in London for 12 days and kept thinking my wallet had been picked!

But it did make me happy to find that petrol prices are even higher than here in Japan, which I thought was impossible! My God! Why don't more people import Kei cars?

    Past Hondas:
    1960 125cc Honda Benly CB92R
1964 305cc Super Hawk CB77, the only vehicle I have ever bought new in my life!
    Honda CB160, roadraced as 175cc 1967-1970.
Honda Lawnmower, bought used in 2003, caught fire and melted in 2005.
