    Angry My Beat needs help?

Hi my little Beat has been taking a break in Reading and although a new battery has been installed it refuses to start. So can anyone suggest a garage (in Reading Berkshire) with experience who can help sort the problem.
    Thanks

Sounds like the same problem as mine, I have also fitted a new battery and the car doesn't want to start. Looking at previous blogs, it looks like it will be the Main Relay ( common fault ), that is behind the Passenger seat next to the ECU. I'll be getting a new relay this week, hopefully sort my car out.
I'll let you know. Does your car turn over ?

Sue, I had his problem trying to start after the winter layup but when my son towed me to the local mechanic I dropped it into gear just see what happened and she started. No problem since. Give it a try!
I love the smell of Nitrox in the morning !

    Just had a great weekend

Had a fab weekend driving the Beat everywhere. Now that the car starts 1st time everytime. I fitted a CRV Main Relay, since my car had developed the won't start concern, as mentioned on this thread. Hope Sue has fixed her car.
