How to further secure the bonnet

Hi, does anybody know of a simple way of securing the corners of the beat bonnet to stop them bouncing, i have seen some people attach bonnet clamps to their front quater panels, but i was looking for a better solution any ideas?

Maybe try turning out the rubber corner bump-stop things to extend them a little? I think that they should touch down when closed.

I had a similar thing with my one, it would make squeaking sounds whilst driving which started to get annoying!

The front strut bar made a difference and I've added some foam to the lid. See photo. Had to be firm with shutting it at first but it has done the job nicely.
