The best match I've seen is a pair of my girlfriend's pajamas, unfortunately she wouldn't me cut them up and use them to repair my seat

Buy a seat from A yahoo auction and get them to remove the cloth and dump the frame.

I have some cloth, but it's needed - sorry

    Check this: http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w70044808

That should be enough for a lot of bolsters.

or this one, using a subspecies of zebra:

    or this:

    or

8 days left in the first auction, one in the second. I could use a bit of the same stuff, so I might bid on it and then sell small pieces to save you guys postage. Any takers?

Alternatively, if its only a small patch, find a plain grey to match the lighter colour and colour in the stripes with a waterproof black felt tip.

OK, LawrenceHarding and beecee, let me know the size pieces you want and PM me a mailing address. I'm paying about GBP 40 all in for passenger seat covers. Should be able to salvage a fair amount. Here's the link: http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e119614155

Sorry if there's any misunderstanding, I repaired my seat using home made fabric, as described, several years ago (and made my own set of zebra mats).

Sorry Lawrence, I meant to reply to fxdlidon, who said he wanted some too. Jetlag, I guess.

OK, got it. So for future reference, that would be about 1/2 square foot per bolster.

Once I get the covers and send don and beecee's off, I'll let the group know if I have any left.

    cleaning seat covers

I will be sending off the zebra upholstery pieces soon to beecee and fxdlidon, as well as repairing my own, but for general information, is it OK to throw the seat covers in the washing machine, or if not what is the recommended way of freshening them up?

I'm sure I will have some left over so if anyone else needs some please let me know.

    Steve

Washing machine is fine but, if they look a bit creased when you get them out iron them with a damp cloth between the iron and the seat material - a hot iron will melt the cloth!
