    help Rattling rear calipers ?

When going over bumps there is severe rattling. Both my usual mechanic and the Honda dealer agree that it is due to the rear calipers, but only suggest "greasing the pins" on said calipers. Do other owners experience this rattling as "standard" or is there a cure? Or maybe another cause has been found and, possibly, cured? Does "greasing the pins" really works?

Does the noise go if you either hold the handbrake on a bit or press the foot brake?

I've found previously the calliper pins to seize rather than to rattle, I see no harm in stripping and applying some grease on the pins, but it may just move after sometime and continue to rattle.

Check the pad retaining clips aren't broken I.e. it's pad rattle.
