    ECU Capacitor/Condenser change instructions, anyone?

    Hi All,

I fancy a little Easter project, so it's time to see if new caps will fix my check engine light 'always-on-but-no-fault-code' problem and maybe stop the amusing 'engine-will-not-restart-while-warm' (usually at the petrol station with a long queue behind) issue.

But I've searched all over the site and can't find a guide -it's probably staring me in the face, but I can't see it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks! -Jc.

I think the old site had some instructions. Let me see if they're still there

Thanks for finding that, Paul. I'm guessing that the temperature ratings all have to be 105C and that those voltages are minimums.

I'm about to blow £2.70 at Maplins (and as much again in postage)!

    35v 220 mu F x 1
    35v 47 mu F x 1
    35v 33 mu F x 2 (63v ok?)
    10V 470 mu F x 2 (16v ok?)

Paul, somehow missed your offer there -I'd rather give the cash to you than Maplin -is it worth your while sending them for a few quid?

Send me your address and I'll send some over. I have 5 sets if anyone else needs them. £5 with postage, all going to keep the site going?
