My stereo is working fine but as there is no cd player its a bit annoying , what i would really like is USB conductibility , other than wiring a head unit with A usb Port what are my options ?

I remember Paul was playing with connecting to the audio unit via the C-bus connector.

If you don't want to dig into the unit or the C-cable, the FM modulators work pretty well and you can get all sorts of combination gadgets that just plug into the cigar lighter, cheeep from China. This one apparently gives USB charging too. http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-5mm-FM-Tra...item2a3f76bb2c
(I couldn't find a cigar lighter to fit the Beat so I used a hardwired modulator that puts a direct signal in the antenna jack, but it was kind of hard to install neatly. I think I'd try something like the one I linked if doing it again)
Past Hondas:
1960 125cc Honda Benly CB92R
1964 305cc Super Hawk CB77, the only vehicle I have ever bought new in my life!
Honda CB160, roadraced as 175cc 1967-1970.
Honda Lawnmower, bought used in 2003, caught fire and melted in 2005.
Something like the August CR100 would play music from a USB stick via FM modulator, Thou its not a pretty solution.

Looks cheap and nasty , ill give it a go and see what its like .
cheers .
Ah yes! I bought a cbus cable with an aux in lead attached but never tried it!
My 'hacked' cd player worked well enough though along with a cheap Bluetooth receiver. I was looking for a 5v point internally so I could power the rx rather than keep charging it.
I'll try the aux cable though, next time the car is out of the garage.
