    Beat from Hong Kong

    Hi,

I just bought my second beat a couple months ago. THe body is nice and the overall condition is good, but the interior needs work and there are some mechanical issues that need to be sorted.

I'm almost done with everything. Only waiting on the new roof, and suspension to arrive.
The car should be completed by this year.

This time the car was completely original when i bought it. The overall condition was pretty good. The interior needed work and there were minor mechanical problems. I liked the look of the Mugen bodykit, so i decided to do the same for the outlook of this car.

They're not that popular here, so you really have to wait for a good conditioned one to come by, or just import one from japan.
I love the Mugen bodykit on this car. I did the same for this one. I'll post some pics later tonight.

    Cheers.

These are some parts that Ive gathered over the past few months.
Now still waiting for the suspension to arrive and wheels to come back from the paint shop.
Ive also replaced a new roof.

Very rare Gen 1 Mugen muffler. The engraving on the tip is neat.

Wow what an update!! Looks great!

Any pictures of the interior all back together?
How did you order the bits from RS Mach did you deal with them directly?

I was doing alot of research into seats for my beat in the last week, the Feels seat is made by a Japanese company called Esqueleto (They also make seats for Mugen and Spoon).. They also specialise in doing seats for Roadsters like the MX5, Lotus and the Beat

They have a seat repair service on their site if you needed bits
    http://www.esqueleto.jp/esqueletosea...sq_repair.html

Heres a link to the Esqueleto Compact for Kei Cars/Beats
You can order them new and get them customise to how you want

I have a friend in Japan and he ordered the rs Mach stuff for me.

Good find on the seat. Too late for me though, I already got it rewrapped locally.

I'll get pics of the interior tomorrow. It's almost done. Haven't put everything back together yet, but almost there.

The blue actually looks much better in person. The Laguna seca blue color just doesn't seem to show up properly in pictures.

    Yup, it's me on Instagram.
I can't wait for it to be finished myself. Hopefully within this month.

    I'll keep updating this post.

Yeah, but it's a wrap, not paint, so it's not a 100% match to the LSB. Very close though.
