    Beat from Hong Kong

    Hi,

I just bought my second beat a couple months ago. THe body is nice and the overall condition is good, but the interior needs work and there are some mechanical issues that need to be sorted.

I'm almost done with everything. Only waiting on the new roof, and suspension to arrive.
The car should be completed by this year.

This time the car was completely original when i bought it. The overall condition was pretty good. The interior needed work and there were minor mechanical problems. I liked the look of the Mugen bodykit, so i decided to do the same for the outlook of this car.

They're not that popular here, so you really have to wait for a good conditioned one to come by, or just import one from japan.
I love the Mugen bodykit on this car. I did the same for this one. I'll post some pics later tonight.

    Cheers.

I have a friend in Japan and he ordered the rs Mach stuff for me.

Good find on the seat. Too late for me though, I already got it rewrapped locally.

I'll get pics of the interior tomorrow. It's almost done. Haven't put everything back together yet, but almost there.

The blue actually looks much better in person. The Laguna seca blue color just doesn't seem to show up properly in pictures.

    Yup, it's me on Instagram.
I can't wait for it to be finished myself. Hopefully within this month.

    I'll keep updating this post.

Yeah, but it's a wrap, not paint, so it's not a 100% match to the LSB. Very close though.

Looks great did you flock the door cards and dash inserts or is it felt or something?

What did you use to paint the bits too? It was done in my beat when I got it but was all peeling so had to strip it all back sit its just clean original grey again

TE37s and the seat will really set it off, what colour are you going on the wheels?

The door cards and dash inserts were wrapped. I bought cheap china suede wraps. They work fine for those pieces cuz they're pretty much flat.

I took the interior panels to my paint shop to get it done. He said he has to spray a layer of something on the dash first for the paint to stick. Not sure what it is.

TE37s are gon be chrome copper.
    Should get painted this week.

Finally got my suspension installed. The car is significantly sharper. Handles a lot better. It's a little stiff, but very acceptable.
The car looks even smaller after its lowered.
Rims will be painted tomorrow and I'll install them Monday.
