    Rotterdam - Cologne - 1 night - Camping
    Cologne - Cologne - 5 nights - Hotel
    Cologne - Dusseldorf - 1 night Hotel
    Düsseldorf - Brempt - 3 nights - Camping
    Brempt - Cologne - 2 nights - Hotel
    Cologne - Wuppertal - 2 nights - Hotel

Next I will head to the Munich beer festival for four days, then onto Innsbruck, Venice and Milan. No return date set as yet, will drive back home when I've had enough of camping / hotels / eating out.
The Beat is perfect for this type of adventure, can't be a better car out there for it.

Nice tour, i did a similar one at the beginning of August (in a Renault Scenic with the wife and kids). Not sure if i'd be able to put up with the high revs of the Beat for that long!

Be careful driving in Austria, and don't get caught speeding with no vignette

Also look out for the local's only zones in many Italian towns, there are big fines. Not that i now know both of these from bitter experience or anything...

    Have fun!
    ! Stuei

    Update-
    Wuppertal to Nuremberg 1 day
Nuremberg to Munich (Oktoberfest) 3 days
    Munich to Dachau 1 day
    Dachau to Verona 3 days
    Verona to Venice 2 days
    Venice to Verona 2 days
Verona to Milan Expo 2015 7 days work
    Milan to Pisa 2 days
Pisa to Rome 2nd of 4 days so far.

The car is a dream to drive abroad. So agile and responsive. And the mountain roads with their twists and turns really suit the car.
