    OEM stereo buttons

    Hi!

The buttons on the OEM stereo (which I really like) are falling off on my beat, it's apparently a common fault - is it still possible to get replacement buttons? Currently I'm thinking about scanning/modelling them and then 3d printing new buttons but I would prefer an OEM replacement.

Don't think so. You could try the Japanese auction sites as they sometime pop up.

Thanks. 3d printing new buttons seems like an easier option then.

Not sure yet! I will bring the old buttons to the shop next week - they said they should be able to 3d model and print a new one.

What would be the cost on this? Also, how would they be taking care of the transparency for the light to shine through?

    Hi
Would be interested in having some buttons made, if there is someone around who can do it ?
If not, is it possible to get a new or replacement head unit ?

I'm guessing the clips on the back of the buttons are broken. If so a small dab of a flexible adhesive will glue the buttons in fine. If the bar the button clips to has broken a sliver of plastic glued across the opening will do. If the pin on the back of the button is broken glue in a replacement. Sorry can't help if buttons completely missing.
