    Battery code ??

Seems my battery is on it's last legs....

But what's in the car is Ford style battery with square posts ...

What battery should it be ?

I looked on here and found codes for batteries that are no longer available

Anyone know a standard battery code I can use to buy online ??

You know, I suppose at this juncture, it doesn't really matter too much what battery is supposed to be in there, since it's probably missing the OEM terminals on the leads, since it's got a Ford square post battery in there. Even if it did have the original terminals, they're JIS sized, so it'd be a struggle finding a battery with JIS posts anyway. Just find something that fits, and run with it. Maybe something from Odyssey's Performance Series range?

    i use an odyssey -

6kg down from the OEM 11-12. you could quite easily go for the smaller one i reckon, cranks just like a fullsize battery

I ended up using a Tractor battery, less expensive and plenty of cranking power.
