    HEY GARY ...

...just got a sneak preview - wait for the pics folks, it'll blow you away!

We've heard good reports on Adrian Flux, Privilege and Tesco of late. In the end though, it almost seems to be based on their mood on the day. Why can't insurance companies employ car enthusiasts.

    Good luck!

    modified insurance

Hi there, just something for everyone to think about,
before you start to modify your Beat, try and find someone who will insure you first because I have tried all the usual suspects to no avail. Because it is a grey import and modified it is even harder to clasify, Good news though, when they are 15 years old, they can be clasified as collectors cars, and so can have an agreed valuation.
I've stuck with my local branch of Swinton Insurance and told them of the body kit, they just want aletter from the co. that fitted it to make sure it is a pro-job.
    cheers

    The car looks really good.

What's it like pulling those 17 inch wheels? I was thinking 15's was a little too much.

I love the arches. Thats one thing the car is missing. Any chance for another pic from the back.

    Gary's Beast

I'll post some more piccies soon with a full tech spec. but i've done a little feature on it in the next news letter.
It looks awesome in the flesh. The front has been totally rebuilt,
wait until you see the mad bonnet!
I've just had a new phat exhaust fitted (straight through)so i'll take some shots from the rear soon
I have big plans for the rest of it soon i.e. interior re-trim - big ice -and NOS...well why the hell not?
It's been booked for major features with REDLINE & FAST CAR when it's finished but I'm hoping for MAX POWER soon.
By the way the wheels are 17'' Fox Racing.
    more soon

I thought at first it was a Corsa kit but I was looking through an old car magazine and found this kit on Escorts, Astras,Clios. It looks the same except for little details.

    Insurance

    Hi Paul,
It worked out at about £640 fully comp with protected no claims,
but unfortunately they cannot give you an agreed valuation, so if anything happens, well you know the rest!
    cheers
