    She's still running fine but I've not been able to drive her since June because the windscreen is cracked and I'm still waiting.

    I took the stereo out and I now have a standard Din one fitted on top of the centre air vents with a Clarion Sub fitted behind the drivers seat. (Feeeel the Beat (I'm sure my kidneys will pop one day!)). All I need to do is find/make something to fill the hole.

    Sounds like a good plan on the pistons Phill. What about fitting them to the con rod?

    Hey Tiny Tim could u put a picture of the new stereo where u have put it because i am thinking of doing the same with mine.

    I was covering my dash with leather so it wasn't too much of a problem but you'll need to be a dab hand with fiberglass if you aren't going to cover it.

    That looks rather good Tim,

    I'm sure if you look on the Jap auctions, you should be able to find an original centre console with the stereo hole still blanked off.
