It called an FD2. It's a civic type r but it's not even based on the same platform as the UK civic. independant rear suspension, lsd, 225bhp. See litchfieldimports.co.uk for full spec.

You would not believe how hard the suspension is! No pitch or roll. Bloody good job the seats are comfy.

Yes, Japan only, no euro or federal version planned. Although it's the same chassis as the UK civic IMA (Hybrid).

They make about 400 a month mainly in championship white. There's a four month waiting list in Japan, even longer for blue ones.

We needed a four door with ISOFIX. BMW 1 series and Golf GTi are both about 200kg heavier than JDM CTR, that sealed the deal for me. My wife just wanted a 4 door integra. Everybody's happy.
