I've just been told that some Beats had power steering. Is that so? I don't recall seeing it in any tech specs.

No, not true. Only one steering rack listed for a beat.
Its too early to have an electric steering system, so think of the pipe work needed to run a hydralic pump system.
Surely the steering is light enough with out power steering
