    Engine Oil Drain Plug Specifications

Hello all, my engine oil drain plug is badly worn from the previous owner using the wrong size of wrench or pliers. I would like to replace it. Does anyone know the thread size and pitch? I could take mine out to measure it but then I'd have no car to go get the new one!

    Thank you.

Hi I hope this helps you but this I totally from memory it should be a 17 mm headed bolt with a 12 mm metric thread and a depth of about 25 mm. I would just order one from a dealer im quite sure it will be same as many other Hondas like civic accord etc
If it's really mashed up try welding another bolt on to what's left of it and it will come out very easy good luck

Thanks mikei, no, I can remove it successfully, but no Honda dealers here can look up parts for a Beat. Is it truly the same as a civic accord etc? then I could order one through my dealer.
    Thank You.

The sump plug is a standard plug used in most honda models.

    Part number is 92800-14000
