Question What is this button please?

I've been flicking this on and off to no effect as far as I can see...

Is it something to do with the rear lamp?

    Thanks everyone.

    Thumbs up ickle switch

    Dave,

As Paul says, (and you suspect) it is probably the switch for the rear fog light,

Normally they are wired so that they only come on when the headlights are turned on although some switches still light up without lighting the foglight if the headlamps are off.

Some also need the ignition on to work so the best way of checking is to start the engne, Turn on the headlamps, press the button and check the rear of the car then press and check again in the off position.

Some people (like me) have converted the drivers side reversing light into the foglamp so that we don't have an ugly box bolted to the rear of the car.

    Hope this helps

    Adrian

I too have a steath fog light, but mine is cunningly concealed behind the reflector in the main light unit, So i still get to keep my reversing lites.
